Gays Can Have Straight Sex, But They Can’t “Cure” Their Sexuality

I’m quite lucky that I’ve never cared about what people think of me. Even at a young age. If someone has a problem with me, that’s their problem, not mine. And thanks to this, I’ve allowed myself to fool around with both men and women. Gotta try before you buy, right?

Following all this experimentation I’ve come to the reasonable conclusion that men are more sexually desirable to me. Women, not so much. No offence, ladies, but boobs and vaginas don’t do anything for me.

I’m gay, and that’s that!

Unfortunately, there are same-sex attracted people out there who do care about what people think about them. Because of this, they mask and alter their appearance and actions to suit the world around them. And with all this caring creates an unhealthy obsession with being straight.

But they cannot cure their sexuality. Noone can. They can’t just magically change who they’re attracted to, just like you can’t learn to enjoy anything you don’t like. All your aversions are yours to accept, not to alter.

Indeed, same-sex attracted people can push themselves to copulate with the opposite sex if they really wanted to. They can figure out ways to stimulate certain body parts and pretend to enjoy it, but they’re never going to be ultimately satisfied.

The Unsettling Truth About Conversion Therapy

Gay conversion therapy does not cure sexuality, simply because sexuality is not a disease. Nor is it a mental disorder according to many medical associations and corporations.

What gay conversion therapy does is force the individual to suppress their “sinful” desires and fake being straight. And then they force you to act out on desires that are not yours.

And yes, many gay men claim that they are cured, having married a woman and fathered children. But their sexual desires do not go away. Sooner or later, their real attractions will pop out from behind their made-up wall, yearning for release.

That’s because sexuality is a matter of taste…

The best way to explain sexual attraction is with a food analogy:

Pick a food that you just can’t stand. For me, it’s kiwi fruit. For you, maybe it’s brussels sprouts.

Now, you can eat that food if you really had to. Say, if it was a life or death situation. But no matter how you eat it, it’s just not going to be enjoyable. You’re still going to cringe and you’re probably going to gag. Which is why you tend to avoid eating it.

And then you have the food you love to eat. Candy, chocolate, spaghetti bolognese, steak, pizza, curry… The list goes on! You may crave different foods each week, but they never change.

Sexuality is much the same. A same-sex attracted person can try to enjoy the opposite sex, but it just ain’t gonna happen. It’s just not their cup of tea. And it’s made worse when they’ve got cravings for the same sex.

So, the ultimate question is: would you spend the rest of your life doing things you don’t like?

Be You, Regardless Of What The World Says

You cannot change your likes and dislikes, but you can change the world by simply being yourself.

Be unapologetic about who you are. You have been made this way, whether by a higher power or by the evolution of life. And now that you know that, it’s up to you to be the beacon for change in your immediate social circle. And a beacon of hope for your own beautiful soul.

You can waste your life pretending to be someone you’re not, or you can throw it all up in the air and just live your life.

If I were you, I’d choose the latter.

Every. Single. Time.

Spread the word!
